Planting trees with Y5 and Y6.
Tiny Forest, a green spaces charity who create forests in communities, have been planting new trees in West Denton, just outside our school grounds. They invited some Year 5 and 6 children along to help them. The whole idea is to improve biodiversity in the local area. Going forward, the school will help to maintain the new forest. We're looking forward to seeing how it will develop over the years.
