Trinity School
Trinity School is a Special School catering for students with a Statement of Special Educational Needs which identifies them as having Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. The School is on two separate sites - Oakfield and Deneview. We provide a positive, structured, stimulating, and challenging environment where we endeavour to fulfil the development and achievement of the "whole person".
Deneview deliver a curriculum which is catered closely to the individual needs of our students to ensure engagement and success for all. All students access an age appropriate curriculum that is targeted to meet their needs. We also have an Additional Needs unit in school who are a mix of KS2&3 students that access all their lessons through a consistent team of specialised staff. Our creative and challenging timetable enables us to deliver all aspects of the National Curriculum whilst also creating exciting, motivating and innovative learning opportunities.
Oakfield College aims to provide a personalised curriculum combining core subjects with more specialist choices where the student's individual needs are paramount. The variety of courses on offer considers key issues such as choice, academic levels, attendance, career aspirations and special educational needs. The key aim is to raise students' expectations and to therefore raise college achievement as a whole. The curriculum continues to grow and develop; we want to offer courses relevant to the changing economic needs and in line with new educational initiatives. We want our students to gain both skills and qualifications to equip them for future life and employment opportunities.
We are determined to strive for excellence in everything we do; in doing so we know that we change lives on a daily basis.
If you are interested in participating in School Direct at Trinity, please apply for course 2HH3 (Primary) or 2HR6 (Secondary) rather than general primary through Beech Hill.
