Self Belief
Character
Self-Belief is our focus character virtue this half term and the children will be exploring how to be their ‘best self’. Mrs Eatock has introduced this in assembly and the children are very excited to see who will be named on Mrs Eatock’s ‘Cracking Characters’ award board.
In school the children will be exploring why it is important to have self-belief, and we have some exciting events coming up in school where the children will be able to demonstrate our virtue. This half term the children will be supported with their transition for September. We want all of our children to explore their future aspirations with the confidence and belief that they can achieve their dreams.
Has your child shown super self-belief at home? We would love you to share examples on class dojo or Tapestry to help your child work towards a character award.
Can you recall a time when your child….
- Did something out of their comfort zone?
- Set themselves a goal and worked hard to achieve it?
- Persevered when they found something challenging?
- Worked hard to be even better… this could be linked to home learning, behaviour or learning a new skill?
I look forward to hearing all about our wonderful children.
