Christmas on the farm

We loved meeting the animals on our trip to the farm at Christmas time. And of course, no trip to the farm would be complete without bumping into Santa! 

Walking about 

We went out of school and explored our local area. Our local shops have stairs, a supermarket, a chemist, a postbox and cash machines. 

Settling In 

We have been busy settling into our new Reception class, we are called the Seahorses.

We have been having so much fun and learning lots of new things, we have been learning that Fred talks in sounds and that we have to blend them into words, we have also been sorting by initial sound! In maths we have been exploring how to represent numbers and subitising… we are very clever! We have also had lots of fun creating our own colour monsters through bubble painting and making our writing fingers strong with dough disco.
