Milecastle Primary School is situated on Chapel House Estate in the outer west suburbs of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Milecastle educates children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. The school is a modern and attractive single storey building which was extensively refurbished in 2012. It is set in extensive grounds and there are  cultivated gardens, quiet areas with outdoor seating and several play areas including a large sports field and wildlife area.

The school has 10 classrooms and smaller group rooms. There is an I.C.T. suite and library, a technology/music room and community room. A large hall is used for assemblies, P.E. and performances. The ‘360 Zone’ is a large, immersive space where the latest technology supports creative teaching and learning.
