Earlier this week, all the children took part in an assembly where they met Magnetic Matt. As part of the "Energy Live" event, Magnetic Matt taught the children about different kinds of energy, including, thermal, nuclear, kinetic, magnetic, gravitational, chemical, elastic and electrostatic. 

Magnetic Matt then went on to demonstrate how these different types of energy can be produced and used (with help from some volunteers in the audience!). Photos don't really do it justice so here's some short videos of Matt and the children in action.
