County Lines

What is County Lines?
County Lines is a term used to describe the criminal exploitation of children and vulnerable people by drug gangs. These gangs often use threats, manipulation, and violence to coerce individuals into transporting and distributing illegal drugs from one area to another, typically from cities into smaller towns or rural areas. This can put young people at significant risk of harm. Below, you will find two information documents from Northumbria Police that provide more details about County Lines and how you can help protect children.
