Year 3

Visit from a parent who works in an opticians

We were very lucky to have Leah, one of our parents, come in to do lesson all about the eyes. The children got to play with slime to feel what the eye would feel like, try on some glasses and to touch some real contact lenses. It was very exciting! The children had so many good questions and they even got to use some of the equipment used in the labs.

Trip to Morrisons

We got the opportunity to go visit the Morrison's bakery, as one of our parents worked in store. The children got to make their own pizzas, put jam into the doughnuts and feel the fish from the counter. We had the best time and we even got to take the pizzas back to school to enjoy!
