The Giant Pandas
6TL at Newcastle University
Programming computers with Python
6TL spent an afternoon at the eye catching Urban Sciences building at Newcastle University, on the site of the old Newcastle brewery. The children spent time in one of the many flash computer labs learning how to code using the computer language Python, which they have recently started using at school. It was very tricky and a good challenge, yet by the end of the afternoon some children were writing complicated codes to produce amazing shapes on their screens.

Safetyworks 2023
We visited Safety Works as part of our work on keeping ourselves safe whilst being independent. We had workshops on using the metro safely, water safety, animal handling and peer pressure resulting in anti social behaviour. It was a really exciting trip and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
