    What is Cultural Capital?

Cultural Capital can be defined in many different ways. At Beech Hill, we are committed to giving children a range of experiences throughout their time in our school from Early Years to Year 6. These can include everything from visiting a farm, to taking part in a sports event, to visiting a museum or going on a residential trip. All these varied experiences amount to give the children the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need for life. We will broaden the children's minds and introduce them to new places, cultures and careers that they might have never encountered before. We hope that these experiences will enrich the children's education, give them enjoyment and help the children to become successful in the future. This is what we mean by Cultural Capital.
