Earlier this week, Year 5 took part in The Big Gig, a huge concert involving schools from all across the North East at the Vertu Arena.

You can spot Beech Hill in our white shirts up in the very top left hand corner of the stand whenever the camera faces the band. 

 

The children were amazing. It was a very long day with a lot of waiting between rehearsals and the show, and it was also VERY hot, however Year 5 did a great job representing the school. 

 

Thank to Mr Rudkin for all his help teaching the children how to play the hits of the 1980s on trumpets!
