Ensuring all children feel happy, safe and loved

Appeal for the people of Ukraine

We are holding an appeal for people in Ukraine.

All items collected will be sent directly to those affected by the war declared on Ukraine by Russia.

If you would like to contribute anything, please send it into school by Wed 9th March.

Items being asked for are listed here:

camping mats;
sleeping mats;
warm heavy blankets;
hot water bottles;
flasks;
thermal base layers;
thick walking socks;
backpacks (Hiking ones);
First Aid Kits;
paracetamol/ Ibuprofen/ pain killing medication/
over the counter medication such as cold and flu meds; imodium (in packet form not bottles);
protein bars;
energy gels;
sanitary products;
nappies and baby powdered milk

If it is easier for you or you would rather make a cash donation, the link is below. The Government have pledged to match every pound raised up to £20 million and this is an easy way for charities to deliver exactly what is needed in each area.

Also, on Friday 11th March, children are invited to come into school wearing yellow and blue to show their support for the people of Ukraine. If you would like to, children can bring in a £1 donation or they can donate an item from the list. The donation is optional, the main thing we want to do is to show solidarity.
