3SR at Scotswood
Last week, 3SR visited Scotswood to learn about seed dispersal. In Science, we've been learning about the different ways that seeds disperse, so it was really fun to go out into the woods and gardens and find examples of different seeds. The children made their own sycamore seed helicopters out of paper and paper clips. They collected different seeds and then found out which ones floated in water. There was also some time for some den building in the woods. Despite it being a bit of a muddy, wet day, the children did really well and enjoyed their trip out.
