Year 6 at Safety Works

14th September 2017
Yesterday our new Year 6 children visited Safety Works, a special centre where they learn how to stay safe in real like scenarios which may occur at home or in the community. For example, the children learned what to do if there's an accident in the kitchen at home, how to be safe near the Metro and how to stay safe in shops.
We've included some photos from the trip!
The Year 6 children have also been set the challenge to design a poster about their favourite thing that they saw at Safety Works. They can make it with any material but it must be no bigger than A4.
On the back the children need to put their name, age, school and the name of their favourite thing about their visit to Safety Works. All entries must be received by the 6th October. There will be a first prize and a runner up prize from each school that enters.
