PE Challenges

Keeping active

We all know it’s so important to keep active, we should be aiming for at least 60 minutes a day.  There are so many fun ways to get moving, here are just a few to try:

  • Go for a walk or bike ride

  • Dance to your favourite songs

  • Complete a monthly movement challenge

  • Try one of these between your lessons:

Most of our children have been taught Dance by Miss Clarke from the PE service.  Miss Clarke has put together some videos for you to learn a dance each week.  They are filmed in 4 sections. One for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and then on Friday the pupils can put the dance together.

Choose a type of dance, click on the day below and you will be taken to the Newcastle PE YouTube page.
