Masterplan for Callerton Public Consultation

Newcastle City Council has published their draft Masterplan for Callerton for consultation and would like to hear your thoughts on the document.

The Masterplan sets out a vision for the development, outlining the key approach to development for transportation, land use, recreation, housing and design and identifies the key infrastructure required to support existing and future communities.  Once adopted by the Council’s Cabinet, the Masterplan will set the principles for development for the sites and be a material consideration in the determination of any future applications for the area it covers.

The council is inviting representations on the draft Masterplan from 9th May 2016 for four weeks until 5th June 2016. During the consultation period, the council will be hosting four public consultation events where people can view the Masterplan and have their say;
