Family Maths at Home

3rd March 2016
We sometimes get asked by parents if we can recommend useful websites to help the children with their maths at home. Mrs Manning would like to point you in the direction of a really interesting looking one called Family Maths Toolkit, which gives suggestions of fun activities that you could do at home with your children. The website is divided into sections so there is something for children of different ages, from 3 up to 13.  There are activities to do in the house, outdoors, there are games, money questions and even songs.

Let us know what you think. We especially liked the 'Pirate Poundland treasure shop' for 5 year olds and the 'real maths in the kitchen' for 6 to 9 year olds.
