At Beech Hill, e-safety lessons form a regular part of our Computing and PSHE Curriculum. But we also think that it is not just the teachers who can pass on good advice about staying safe online. We also think that our children also have very good tips on how to stay safe online.
Therefore, we set Year 6 the challenge of choosing two e-cadets. We were looking for two role models who could set a good example to other children about how to work and play safely on Computers. Jasper and Katie were chosen by their peers as our first ever e-cadets.
Katie was chosen because she is a confident speaker, is mature, responsible, helpful and approachable.
Jasper was chosen because he is knowledgeable, sensible and responsible. He is easy to speak to and friendly. He also has his own You Tube channel and is cool at coding.
