Splashdown Summer School

Newcastle University are excited to announce their week long “Marine Biology and the natural environment” Summer School for Key Stage 2 pupils. It offers 9-11 years olds a chance to investigate and explore the natural world in an informal and friendly setting, and gives them a ‘taster’ of science and university life. We will enjoy field trips, aquarium activities, microscope investigations, games, art projects and fun activities together.

The course will run from 10.00 until 15.00 5th August 2019 – 9th August 2019. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The cost for this course is £130.

If you have older children, there is also a course for Key Stage 3 children aged 11-14. The course will run from 10.00 until 15.00 Monday 29th July to Friday 2nd August 2019.
