Beech Hill Challenge May

2nd May 2019

The World Transplant Games 2019 are inviting schools to get involved in a competition to design and name the official mascot for this Summer’s Games which take place between 17 and 24 August.

Mascots are a fun and captivating way of engaging communities in a project, campaign or event. For the World Transplant Games they are looking for a character that is original and imaginary. The official mascot needs to represent the spirit and excitement of the Games and inspire people of all ages to support the event and to engage with the subject of organ donation.

Schools and young people from our region are being challenged to use their creativity and imagination to create a one-of-a-kind mascot.

The mascot designs will be judged by a panel of representatives from the World Transplant Games Organising Committee in June 2019 and the winning mascot design would then be made into the Games official mascot. The mascot would play a role in the Games ceremonies and events and will be featured in marketing and communications activities prior to, during and after the Games.

  • Mascots must have a name given to them
  • Entries must be original
  • Entries should contain the official Games colours, red, white and blue

Bring your design into school by the end of May to receive a prize!
