A busy month coming up

19th May 2016

We have some exciting events coming up in June at Beech Hill, which is going to be a busy month with assessments in Years 1, 3, 4 and 5 including the Year 1 phonics screen. Along with this, there’ll be a series of fun events and trips. On Monday 6th June, Year 4 will set off for their residential trip to the Lake District.  On Thursday 9th June, Year 3 will be heading up into Northumberland for the Wooler Show. Then on Tuesday 14th June, we have the army coming into school for a Resilience Day where the children will be given a series of challenges.  Also coming up soon is the Big Gig at Sports Central on Tuesday 21st June where Year 5 will be playing their trumpets.  On Wednesday 22nd June, Year 6 head off for their residential trip to Robin Wood.  June ends with Arts Week – a special week of activities organised by Mrs Donaldson with drama, art and music activities galore. So, a very busy month but with plenty to look forward to.

And don't forget, we are closed for the EU Referendum on Thursday 23rd June as we are used as a polling station. Teachers will be in school having a training day.
